Upside Down

As the gospel spread, the impact became impossible to ignore.

Acts 17:6
These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also.

Cities changed. Lives were transformed. People who once worshiped idols now followed Christ.

The world struggled to explain what was happening.

The same disciples who once hid in fear were now boldly preaching across the Roman Empire.

The message of the risen Christ continued moving forward despite opposition, persecution, and hardship.

Why?

Because the resurrection changed everything.

The church did not grow through political influence or worldly power. It grew because ordinary believers were convinced that Jesus was alive.

They believed the resurrection was true.

And they were willing to live — and die — for that truth.

The same mission continues today.

The church is not merely an organization or a tradition. It is a community of people whose lives have been transformed by the risen Christ.

The world still needs that message.

And the same power that moved through the early church still moves through believers today.

The story that began at the empty tomb continues wherever the gospel is proclaimed.

And that transforming news, can turn someones world upside down. From darkness to light, from despair to hope, from fear to love, from depression to joy, from sin the God. It is transforming, and we should be willing to share it so that it may change lives.
