Philip was in the middle of a thriving ministry.

Crowds were listening. Lives were changing. Momentum was building.

Then God told him to leave.

No explanation.
No visible opportunity.
Just a direction—to go into the desert.

From a human perspective, this made no sense.

Why leave a place of impact for a place of obscurity?

But Philip obeyed.

And in that desert, he encountered one man—an Ethiopian official searching for truth.

That single conversation would carry the gospel far beyond what Philip could have seen.

This is how God often works.

He interrupts what seems effective to accomplish what is eternal.

We tend to measure success by visibility.

God measures it by obedience.

Interruptions can feel inconvenient.

Plans shift.
Schedules change.
Opportunities disappear.

But what feels like disruption may actually be divine direction.

God sees connections you cannot.
He knows outcomes you cannot predict.

The question is not whether the interruption makes sense.

The question is whether you will trust the One who gave it.
