Since January 3, 2019, Isaiah Powell and Donovan Gandee have faithfully used the RENEW Podcast as a platform to share timely encouragement, biblical truth, and practical challenges drawn directly from God’s Word. Each episode is designed not only to inspire, but to speak clearly and honestly to the spiritual needs of today’s believer.
Through sound doctrine, thoughtful application, and heartfelt conviction, RENEW seeks to strengthen faith, confront complacency, and call Christians to a deeper walk with Christ. Whether addressing everyday struggles, spiritual growth, or the urgency of gospel living, the goal remains the same: to teach, edify, encourage, and challenge believers to grow in maturity and become faithful servants of the Lord.
At its heart, RENEW is about spiritual renewal — renewing the mind through Scripture, renewing the heart through conviction, and renewing commitment to Christ’s mission. In a world filled with noise and distraction, the podcast exists to refocus attention on what matters most: a vibrant, obedient, Christ-centered life.

Isaiah Powell
I was raised in church. If the doors were open, we were there. Growing up in church, constantly under preaching and teaching can be a great tool for growth in a Christian's life; or it can equip one to more successfully 'go through the motions'. I was saved at the age of 4; but, unfortunately, I was not always zealous for the Lord. I always wanted to do the right thing but was not truly letting the Lord decide what that was. It was not until I was in college that God got a hold of my heart and opened up my life to His plans and purpose. To help others get a renewed zeal for the Lord and a burden to reach the world, like I did, is why I started DTEM in 2014, and 5 years later started RENEW.
About Me
Donovan Gandee
As a youth pastor at Alliance Baptist Temple, I have a passion for serving and mentoring young people in their spiritual, personal, and academic growth. I have a bachelor's degree in pastoral studies from Massillon Baptist College, which equipped me with the knowledge and skills to effectively communicate, counsel, and lead people of diverse backgrounds and needs.
